Construction of the magnificent new purpose-built driving range at Royal Pines Resort is only days away from completion. Designed by ML Design and built by Wilder Constructions the building will be the home to Mark Gibson’s Exceptional Golf @ Royal Pines Resort.

Mark Gibson, who is also the Director of Golf Instruction at Royal Pines Resort, is passionate about teaching golf and is not only one of the most sought-after instructors in Australia, but also has an international clientele, continuing to give over 2,000 private lessons a year to players from beginners to touring professionals.

“We are delighted to have Mark Gibson back at Royal Pines Resort. Having his expertise and this fabulous facility is a good example of the positive aspect of where we’re going with golf at Royal Pines Resort,” enthuses Director of Golf & Sport Scott Ranse.

“This facility is going to be one, if not the best facility of its kind on the Gold Coast.”

The launch of the driving range will take place this Friday 6 October at 2.00pm. Gavin Kirkman Senior Executive Officer of the PGA – Queensland Division will M.C. the afternoon and introduce Mr John Griffin, General Manager - Estate Royal Pines Resort to officially open the new facility.

The event will be attended by many from the golfing world including a number of the PGA members participating in the ABC Learning Centres and Callaway Golf Hi-Lite Pro-Am being played out at Hope Island and Royal Pines Resort.
