Water’s Edge is a medium density housing project, adjacent to the river within the desirable West End Precinct of inner-city Brisbane. As one of the few remaining inner city, river front, developments, Duncan Street is certain to become one of the signature developments and catalysts for the Riverside Precinct of West End.
The development at Duncan Street is without doubt one of Brisbane’s most eagerly awaited developments, representing a significant opportunity to utilise and regenerate a predominantly disused industrial area situated in an exclusive inner city location that already has the benefit of established services and amenities.
The design maximises the river views and establishes a new secure private environment for the residents and forms a consistent urban typology that regenerates the light industrial area and facilitate public use.
Working in association with Carr Design on the initial interior design sketch concepts, these were brought into reality to achieve the important balance between both practical and aesthetic design catering to the high end development market.
The interiors are a simple design with pleasing lines and spacious interiors reflects the riverfront location. Contemporary finishes allow for a clean combination between light and dark, as well as enabling the colour schemes to be interchanged to infuse contrast.
