Apartments in this contemporary urban renewal project on the site of the old Queensland State Canning Factory have been designed in the New York loft style with a sense of industrial chic. Some 207 one, two and three bedroom apartments were designed reflecting the Wool Store precinct of Teneriffe and the types of residential conversions that are prevalent in the area. Double height mezzanine apartments utilise exposed timber floor joists and floorboards supported by hammertone finished steel work. Sliding doors on industrial tracks allow bedroom spaces to open out and increase the sense of spaciousness. Stainless steel bench tops and appliances were used to reinforce a sense of industrial utilitarianism.
