Executive Chairman
As the founding Principal since the firm’s inception in 1987, Bevan Lynch has played a key role in building ML Design’s reputation for innovation, quality and dependability.Throughout his career, Bevan has worked on a wide range of architectural projects. In particular, he has extensive experience in the design and development of major retail complexes, commercial office buildings and master planned communities.
Today at ML Design, Bevan as Executive Chairman, leads the growth of the firm into national and international markets, and remains actively involved in major CBD and master planning projects. He is committed to the continuing development of ML Design and its people, and their responsiveness to new design challenges.
Bevan was recently appointed as a Board member of Urban Futures Brisbane, a Board established by the Brisbane City Council to provide strategic advice to Council on planning for and implementing Brisbane’s future urban design.
Within this Board structure, Bevan has been appointed as Chairperson of the Independent Advisory Panel which provides independent advice on the design quality and appropriateness of applications, concepts, precinct structures, sites, policies and guidelines within the City Centre and other nominated parts of Brisbane.
